Exodus [Hard & Soft Evidence]

Time for us to do some critical thinking...
Most of us have grown up with some cinematic version of the Exodus, right?
So where was was there theatrical license, and what stays true to the scriptures?
the animated version of Prince of Egypt, the award winning Ten Commandments,
or recent premier of Exodus: Gods & Kings...
We also live in a period of history where archaeological endeavors are surfacing physical evidence of such an exodus - so how do we interpret the evidence, and why might it be significant?

Solomon's Commemorative Monuments
Did you know evidence has been found of settlement of Jewish-like people in the Cush regions of Egypt - dating back to the time of Joseph and his linage...?
How about written histories of mass murder of infants?
the likelihood of wilderness wanderings?
Monuments testifying to the exact locations of crossing the Red Sea?
Probable Locations of Israel's encampments?
the pursuit of Pharoah's Army, the Bitter Waters, the 70 Palm Trees & 12 Wells?
the Split Rock, The Real Mount Sinai (Horeb), the Altar(s)
and much, much more...
What is soft evidence, what is hard evidence, and what does it matter...

Ultimately each of us have to make our own minds up.
Did the Exodus really take place, and if it did - what does that imply
(regardless of the persuasion of tangible or intangible evidence).
