Reading God's Story - A Chronological Daily Bible.

Our Breeze Thru the Bible in 2016 will be utilizing a number of resources.  

One of the main resources we will be using is Reading God's Story

 - A Chronological Daily Bible (HCSB).

This particular bible soft cover $10, hard cover $15, or digital version ($8 thru Kindle) 

will be our main study/reading aid.

It follows a unique redemptive thread giving us a the sequence of God's Epic Story.

Just What is the HCSB Version of the Bible?

Here is a quick look at the trustworthiness of the HCSB version of the bible.
I has been a great text for our fellowship to get "the Big Picture" or a Survey of the bible.  

Is translates the ancient text into present day language

 while being faithful to the text of the original language.  

Although many are accustomed to the the NIV, and more recently growing into the ESV 

(with the KJV/NKJV and the NAS continuing to be the hallmark of great Study Bibles) 

- the Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB) is a good fit for our chronological read thru - 

and it forces us to read a version that we are not use to

therefore stimulating a fresh perspective on the ancient text.
